MY STORY

Rachel Begovic is a Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR therapist and Board-Certified Clinical Sexologist with almost 2 decades of professional experience assisting clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She’s helped hundreds of clients throughout South Florida who have difficulty coping with various challenges. Rachel is an expert in treating mood disorders including bipolar and anxiety disorders, addictions and recovery, PTSD and trauma, sexual dysfunctions and sexuality issues. Additionally, her extensive knowledge includes working with LGBTQ, foster and adoptive individuals and families.  Her EMDR training enables her to use this evidence-based technique to heal PTSD and past Trauma (including sexual, physical and emotional abuse). Rachel has expertise working with those in the helping field who constantly see traumatic events and suffer from compassion fatigue. She’s helped her clients improve their communication skills, gain anger management strategies, learn soothing stress management techniques and enhance their self-esteem.
